At IntraLogistex 2017, leading intralogistics company BITO Storage Systems will be telling visitors about its a wide range of successful picking solutions for clients such as ASDA, Lidl, Alliance, AAH, Phoenix Healthcare, Jaguar Land Rover, Staples, Next, BMW and John Lewis.
The company offers a one-stop-shop provision of order picking solutions on any scale – from several bays of shelving to large-scale automated intralogistics systems. These combine BITO’s own racking and shelving as well as bins and containers designed to make full use of the space in the bays.
Solutions include carton live storage providing pick location density for small items – saving up to 20 per cent of floor space, and improving travel time for pickers by two thirds. 
There are innovations such as Smart Slide shelving, which is ideal for ecommerce picking. It houses a high number of adjustable pick slots for slow and fast moving products in a sliding shelf system which, as Asda Logistics Clothing Depot found, provides a 30 per cent saving on floor space compared to other picking solutions.
